I really hope it works out that way. Picked him up a couple of days ago and have to drop him tomorrow to make room for an incoming trade. I may have gotten lucky with perfect timing! :)

Anyone know why Ziegler isn't in to close?

Interesting question, I wonder if Geren wants to use Zeigler as a setup man with Casilla out or what the story is.

According to A's radio broadcast, Ziegler has the flu and was unavailable to pitch today.

Last 5 posts are the epitome of how NOT to use the Closer thread.

Do you guys like sifting through usless garbage and/or just hearing yourselves talk?
Unbelievable.

As a Soria owner who didn't watch the KC game I am happy to hear that he'll be back tomorrow, and the closer thread is EXACTLY the place to explain (post-game) that Ziegler is the closer, but Wuertz got the save b/c Ziegler was sick. You really think this thread should only consist of people quoting articles saying whether a change in closer has occurred or not? Try using Google-Alerts or something...

It's been said for some time now that Soria will return for the weekend series.

It's way, way.....way, way, way quicker to look in the 5+ places on the internet that stated Zeigler was just sick then it is to write up a question about it, and wait for an answer.

Do you really think the closer thread should be filled with:

You've put just as many posts up on this page not having anything to do with closers as anyone else. Calm down. Or leave the thread if you don't like it.
