Great job Hurdle. You finally get a Save opportunity, and your supposed closer isn't avalable because you've been using him in 10-3 and 12-5 games.

You finally get a 2 run lead late in a game.....
And it's Street who gets to come in and face the doo-doo end of a doo-doo lineup and look like god doing it.

I'm betting Hurdle's a little slow between the ears.....using his "closer" 4 times in 5 days with NONE of them being save opps.

Street pitched in the last 3 games aswell. The only difference is street hasn't allowed a run in those games. Corpas has allowed 2.

With Manny Corpas getting the day off, Huston Street received the save opportunity Wednesday against the Padres and struck out all three batters he faced.
Corpas has taken two losses in his last four appearances, and both he and Street are now sporting identical 6.10 ERAs. The difference is that Street is getting better, while Corpas is getting worse. Street never actually blew a save before being yanked from the closer's role, so he may be close to earning another opportunity. rotoworld.com

I know Street was getting smacked around but it's not like he was getting smacked during save opps; Other closers were and are doing much worse than Street,plus were/are getting beat down in save opps, and still have their jobs. Yet another one of these Hurdle moves that make you scratch your head.
