To the previous poster about Hoffman..he isn't set to come off the DL till tomorrow far as I know.

Why wasn't Morrow in there tonight? He hasn't pitched since the 23rd...

Morrow has a stiff shoulder doesnt seem too serious, you never know. He wasnt even warming up.

aardsma got the save but gave up a two run homer to hunter.

I think Shawn Kelley has pretty much taken over 3rd place in the pecking order for Seattle. He's had a lot of good opportunities so far.
With a bit of luck he could be the '09 Arredondo.

Havok, who do you think is Hoffman's backup? Villanueva is my bet for now just because Coffey was so horrible this week. Also, do you think Hoffman is unavailable to go 2 nights in a row for a while? Either way Hoffman is likely an injury risk all year so there is still some value in that pecking order IMO.

Valverde said he felt pain in every pitch while closing out a game Sunday. "Maybe I have to take two more days; I don’t know," Valverde said after receiving postgame treatment. "I have to check it tomorrow." He initially suffered the injury while trying to field a ground ball Tuesday against the Dodgers.

BJ will likely get a chance to earn his job back when he returns (when you are making 10M a season for 2 more years, you get chances), but it won't be immediate.

He's out indefinitely, though I'm not convinced he's actually hurt at all.
