I don't think ANY closer should lose their job based on any one outing, but Lindstrom is sure testing that rule with what's easily the worst inning (or two-thirds of one) by any closer so far this season. He had been pretty solid this year until tonight. Let's all try very hard to forget this one, but if he's shaky the next time out then I think Nunez (who I dropped earlier today in the one league I still had him in incidentally) becomes a must add. Some people will still add him tonight I'm sure but that would be premature IMO.
I don't know. This is the kind of outing that a guy goes to the DL after, even if he isn't "demoted" because of it. I don't think it would be premature to add Nunez unless you really don't have a spot.
i wouldnt say Lindstrom has been that solid. his 1st game he got a save. had 1 IP and 1 H with 1 UNearned run with 2 walks and 2 K. his 2nd game he had a blown save, with 1 IP and 3 H with 1 ER. since then prior to todays game hes been pretty solid with 4 IP, 2 H, 0 BB, 3 K. some might want to grab Nunez, but he hasnt been lights out either.

I don't think Ray is even ready to close, he gave up a hit to his first batter Salty, which is almost impossible to do. B'more has serious bullpen issues.
i currently have Chris Ray on my bench. this is what his yahoo current news says..
Ray is currently the No. 2 closer for the Orioles as manager Dave Trembley doesn't want to use George Sherrill in that role on consecutive days, MASN Sports reports.
Recommendation: Those holding onto Ray in shallow leagues will probably have to stash him on the bench for now, but barring a Sherrill meltdown or an injury, Ray's value is limited in the near future.
