Yeah, I've owned him (not Accardo!) all season, too. He could prove to be a huge pickup this season.

Frasor moves to the setup role now, and may pick up the occasional save (possibly tomorrow, considering Downs has gone 2 straight).

I had BJ was was too slow to pick up Downs. I picked up Chris Ray, because I have little faith in Sherrill. Is ray more valuable than Zumaya? Does Zumaya have a better shot at becoming closer this year?

That would be an interesting list to put up... best closers in waiting, one by likelihood of gaining the position and another by overall ability (b/c while Coffey is more likely to get saves than Takashi Saito, Saito would probably be better to own cuz he won't hurt you). On Ray vs. Zumaya, flip a coin... both have injury concerns, and are not guaranteed the role.

At this stage it looks like Ronald Belisario, or at least he was the last one to do it.

For the most part, Hong-Chih Kuo is LAD's set-up man, but he's been awful to start. Unless he fixes what's wrong he'll be losing the spot to Belisario going forward.

FWIW, Zumaya is on my DL, if someone offered me Ray straight up I'd say no.

I was under the assumption that Kuo still had the job, but after the last couple of games it looks like he lost it. He hasn't pitched in about a week either.

Well, Leyland said Zumaya's being called up this weekend. Whats everyones views on him?

Im definitely thinking hell start off getting the 7th/8th inning duties. At first hell prolly just come in whenever they need an inning to see where hes at and once he shows his velocity is back hell be put in an important spot to test his metal and if/when he proves hes healthy, hell takeover as the setup man and once Rodney falters, hell step into the closer role. Hes definitely the tigers closer of the future so i doubt they jerk him around or pile up meaningless innings on his already injury plagued arm. Zumaya was hitting about 95 MPH on Thurs and said he feels 100%... thats definitely a good sign!

I personally dumped Brandon Wood for him since wood is being misused terribly in LA.
