Before the game tonight Cito refused to say who would close. When asked if he would call up Accardo who has 3 saves already for Las Vegas (they already called up a starter to fill in for Romero but did not call up anyone yet to take Ryan's spot) Cito said that he prefers to use a long relief guy in this role until Ryan gets back (what the hell does this mean??).

My bet is that he will use both Downs and Frasor and even occasionally will use League if he pulls it together. If Ryan is out for just a short while I don't believe that a single guy will be named to replace him. If Ryan is out for an extended period then there will be one guy.

The Jays have a 2 run lead in the 8th so we will get some indication tonight.

i dont see how its a redundant question. im asking if downs or frasor will get the nod. then you said look at page 1. then i did and it said bj ryan is rock solid so i assumed it wasn't updated (since he is obviously not rock solid).

Actually, I think a healthy BJ Ryan is rock solid. He's obviously not healthy, ie on the DL, and once he proves his health he'll close no ifs about it.

He was already producing for people in deeper leagues with the K's and stats now has the saves to go along with it.
