It was Reyes, and he was in to face Delgado, Beltran and Church.
Franklin came in to get Sheff out.
It seems like Reyes will sneak a save here and there with a string of lefties up as he would have pulled out the save today baring that double by Beltran.
Reyes would not have earned a save if he finished the game.
Damn, you're right. That double is what put it within 3
Not sure if this has been posted yet, but here are some interesting quotes from Cito Gaston regarding B.J. Ryan:
"It's something that we have to sit down and talk with B.J. and certainly talk with J.P. (Ricciardi) and see where he's coming from," Gaston said of Ryan's problems and whether he'll be used in the next save situation. "It looks like he's certainly having trouble with his control to me.
"I don't know if he's hurting or if he's not hurting but we'd certainly like to see him do better than that. That's not going to get it for us. We'll sit and talk to him about it and see what he feels about what's going on out there. But his control is off."
