dunno about that with Villanueva's struggles in his last three outings... I think there's definitely something to consider here, at least in the short term until Hoffman returns.

Yeah, what the hell are you guys talking about? Wait until after her finishes the inning? Why???

These things are time sensitive, I grabbed Coffey and I think he's going to close until Trevor comes back. If I waited until "after the inning" he may have already been gone. But thanks for the worthless input bud!

He hasnt let up a freakin run since becoming a Brewer dating back to last year.

Post-game was all about how Coffey will be the man until Trevor's back.

He is the best option.

This is not clutter, we just found ourselves a new interim closer I believe......

well, Rodney is 3/3 in Save Opportunity so far and has allowed 1 baserunner in 5 innings, so until something changes i would say no.

i still dont have a ton of confidence in Rodney (FWIW i have even less in Zumaya), but it's possible his shoulder is finally right and he can get back to 06 form. if that's the case Leyland isnt going to mess with things, especially until Zumaya can stay healthy and show some control

It's easy enough to just go to his Yahoo! player page and check, but yes.

Well......

I didn't make the rules, but have no problem reminding you how to read them.
Probably doesn't help reminding. Have a good one.

There's a clear difference b/w game commentary and a new closer coming to fruition. Pick up Coffey boys!

I suppose but he had pitched in 3 straight outings so it was invariably going to be someone else in the 9th today.
