I am in the same boat. Will relish the HOLDS and SAVES they muster up.

I would hope for Balfour, but he has been horrendous lately.

right now the only person to look good in that pen is Joe Nelson. They are all playing like crap right now. Balfour was brought in for the 8th, gave up 1 hit, and was pulled because of matchups with the next batter. That doesn't instill confidence that Maddon would use him. I think they will stay with Percy for now. I think Izzy will be an option when he is healthy. He threw a bullpen session today and looked good.

Does Buchholz fit into the Col. closer discussion at all? He should be due to come off the DL soon...

If I can 2, or hopefully 3 full-time closers outta this mess, I'll be extremely happy.

Closer/Self-Esteem boost thread, I like it ;-D .

I'm in first in 3 out of 5 leagues right now. Second in one, and 5th in the other. Does that count?

:-D

PS: These are all private leagues, and two are keepers.

Please smoke on that one.

So can we get a little bit of Moderator deleting/warning action going on?

He's a good pitcher but considering what the Rockies have invested in Street (trade value) and Corpas (contract with options thru 2013) they will get every opportunity to close. It shouldn't work that way but it does.
