i got sosa in the third round , vlad in the fourth round and randy johnson in the fifth , n e one else got lucky in their draft?

The only thing that sticks out to me is that you took Sosa when Vlad was still on the board.

Would it be a real shocker to anyone if Gagne went 3rd or 4th in this league?
Sounds like absolutely nobody ranked their players prior to an auto-draft.
Vlad in the 4th isn't 'lucky', it's just plain stupid he was there to begin with.

it was a live draft first of all and in a yahoo league so everyone was going by their rankings so thats why i was able to get them so late

You picked Sosa ahead of Vlad you can't possibly defend that decision so don't even try.

yahoo rankings sosa was ranked at least 14 spots ahead of vlad and i knew thats what everyone would go by so if i didn't i wouldn't of got sosa so i just did defend it

If he knew for sure that each and every person was going by the yahoo rankings then there were much better ways to take advantage of them rather than taking Sosa in the first round.
