Abreu might have a few more productive years, his SB are falling off. He should still have 20 HR, 100 RBI's and 20 SB this year but I really don't have room for two closers as my keepers. Anyone else?

definitely do both trades, the abreu one is a steal. he should hit around .300 with 20 HRs and could have the green light more often in anaheim. definitely has quite a bit more value than lidge.

That would leave me with the following for keepers:

SS Hanley Ramirez
1B Adrian Gonzalez
3B Alex Gordon
UT Ortiz
OF Chris Young(ARI)
OF Abreu
SP Cole Hamels
SP Dice K
RP Jenks

Last Keeper: Either Ibanez or Cain

Minor Keeper: Alexei Ramirez(can qualify here), LaPorta, Fowler, Moustakas

I think keeping one closer is enough, and I'd make both trades and keep Cain. I'd also like to see you get an upgrade at 3rd, I'm not a big believer in Gordon, and AGon playing in that dog dew SD offense in Petco doesn't thrill me either.

I know, I don't like Gordon either and I have been trying to make some trades to upgrade but no takers. I wish Adrian could get out of SD too.

I will definately be picking the best third baseman with my first pick in the draft, keepers are due soon so I should have a good idea who I will be able to get. I had Arod at 3B but traded him straight up for Hanley last year.

See if he'll do Jenks for Abreu. I really like Lidge. Could be the top closer in the league next year imo.

Id def do the ortiz trade.

If Ortiz slips at all, then he's a very replaceable player. I don't take him. Cano means that you're set at the harder positions, and he's all BA: he's going to have some good, some bad years. Still, he's 27 and likely very much to return to form.

Ortiz doesn't even have the guarantee of this year.
