Think he's an absolute steal. And yes, I'd bat him second. Just what the Angels needed was a high OBP guy who Vlad and others can hit in. I know he can be trouble with his lack of intensity in the OF, but he'll be really good at the plate for them. Anybody know if they're thinking about playing him some at 1B. I think I remember seeing him working out there once of twice while he was in Philly?

The ranking at http://www.baseballevaluation.com for their three year RAVE, rolling average, have him pegged at #63. That would be pretty good value now that he's on the Angels.
