This is the 1st offseason of our keeper league, I've made 3 offseason trades and wanted to get some opinions on how I did, and possibly get some advice on where else I should look to upgrade.
10 team H2H keeper 6x7(H,CG,SHO)
The 3 trades I made were:
1.My Soto for Billingsley 2.My Cano for Alexei Ramirez 3.My Ganderson and Hart for Kemp
My keepers
MCab Braun Beltran Kemp Crawford Alexei Chris Davis (picked him up off the wire last week) Billingsley
I like the trades overall, except the Soto for Billingsly trade. I'm just not an advocate for pitching, especially when you give up a top 5 positional player for Billingsly (who has potential to be a WHIP killer).
The Granderson and Hart trade for Kemp is a nice upgrade, and I'm assuming that with that extra roster spot, that's when you picked up Davis. So nice...
Cano for Alexei... Grand Theft Roto material. Good job.

Not that Billingsley is a bad acquisition, I just believe Soto's value is greater.
6x7 with complete games and shutouts? who decided on that scoring setup, the halladay owner? and hits as a category? aren't you already counting average?
but anyways, first trade was even, second was excellent, third im not a big fan of, mostly because kemps bb/k rate scares me.

As far as the trades. I like the Cano for Alexi trade. I actually think Cano will bounce back this year and has the potential to put up fantastic numbers. But to get Alexi for him is very nice.
I think the Billingsley trade is even. Its clear from your keepers that you did not have an pitchers that were really top flight material, so this gives you potentially an ace. On the other hand you did give up an elite player at his position to get him. Soto is still young and can only get better.
And I really like the Kemp trade. Kemp should be much better and if Manny is in that lineup for a full year watch out. Plus its essentially Kemp and Chris Davis, so how can you not like it.
