Free ESPN vs Pay CBS

Postby JK Baseball » Sat Feb 07, 2009 11:53 am

I have been wondering why I should pay for a very basic 6X6 H2H league on CBS when I can set up the same basic league on ESPN for free? I have never had a league on ESPN for baseball or football so I need your opinion. I feel like I am missing something and would like to know before I commit to ESPN free custom setup.

If you want a very basic 6x6 with no minor-league players, then you should choose a free site.

The main advantages that CBS offers is that you can track basically every stat, and create custom ones, and that they have all the players of significance down to A-Ball.
0-3 to 4-3. Worst choke in the history of baseball. Enough said.

I use ESPN for my 6x6 H2H league and I like it.

ESPN has the best value. If your looking for dynasty or keeper leagues then CBS is the best - but if your looking to hold onto $150 or so league fee... why waste it on CBS

I actually went with ESPN last year & was switching the whole league to CBS (after a successful football season there) but realized I'm taking $150 away from a prize payout (gracious they took $30 off the $180 price tag) - in a 12 team league that's only an extra $12 bucks each but think about it like, it's a $150 less to the winner!

If it's free its for me
