30-30 maybe, 40-40 now you've bumped your head a bit.....
To the owner: If you can keep him for the future and don't have a contract on his head its probably the time to trade beltran for Kemp. Lets put it this way, after 2009 you won't be able to make this deal.
Beltran played 161 games in 2008. It was the first season in the past 3 he hasn't missed 11-20 games. He didn't get any younger this past year. His numbers will still be very beltran'ish, but i'd look for him to miss at least 10 games this year. Kemp could just as easily get hurt, but then again Kemp is 24.... Its an interesting situation.
Good luck

Agree
Kemp could be great... isn't great yet. Don't pay as though he's already $ in the bank.

Keep Beltran. He's still better than Kemp , and should be for a couple more years.

if you can keep both for as long as you like with no price increases or anything like that to worry about, i think now is a great time to make this deal. i wouldn't be surprised to see kemp end up just as valuable as beltran this year, and beyond...forget it. beltran will remain productive for several more years, but his 30hr days are gone and i think he steals less than 20 soon too. he'll give you more rbi and runs than kemp, but those categories aren't as scare.
i understand that beltran is the more valuable player right now, but i don't think he will be be for long. this is a good risk to take, in my opinion.
