Who should my sixth keeper be? WHIR

Postby b_rad82 » Fri Feb 06, 2009 7:44 pm

I think my first five keepers are very obvious

Carlos Lee
Justin Morneau
Ichiro
Ellsbury
CC Sabathia

The others I could possible keep are:
16 team roto league

Chris Dickerson
Travis Hafner
J.J. Hardy
Brad Hawpe
Chase Headley
Chris Iannetta
Kelly Johnson
Cameron Maybin
Jhonny Peralta
Pablo Sandoval

Matt Capps
Zack Greinke
Oliver Pérez
Chris Young

What do you think? WHIR.

I'd go with JJ Hardy.

I say Sandoval. Especially in a keeper league, nabbing a good catcher opens up a series of doors that will help your decision making during a re-draft, no more worrying about having to take a C when you already have one! If you are not big on Pablo, take Greinke; either one is a great choice.

To be honest Sandoval interests me more than hawpe, hardy, or greinke who all seem like low-risk, medium-floor, low ceiling, guys.

I mean I know what I'll be getting out of those guys, and it's pretty good, no doubt, but I dunno, it's pretty boring too. Maybe that means it's smart. Thanks for the advice guys, Hardy's probably the wise choice. But then again. . . :)

Greinke is not a low celing guy. Did you see the strides he made last year?
