Arredondo vs Devine

Postby Bigball » Fri Feb 06, 2009 4:37 pm

Deep 14 team dynasty league and relievers are golden.

Both these guys are 25, have potential closer all over them and are available in our draft.
They will have minor league status so I can have them sit for awhile but may only pick one since they will be snatched up early in the draft.

Who has more upside?

I have Zieglar signed for this year so Devine was my first choice.
its the biggest no brainer in the history of earth....

I own both in a dynasty and I would definitely go with Devine. Better chance at saves and better ratios.

Gotto go with Devine. Much better chance to close this year unless an injury happens in LA. But Devine could come out of spring training as the closer.

I'm going Devine. He's arguably the better pitcher now and is the favorite for saves in OAK. Not to mention the added bonus of you having the handcuff in Ziegler if he does happen to beat out Devine in ST or an injury occurs.
