I'm the commissioner of a cbs keeper league. 23 active roster spots which is normally filled with 5 keepers and an 18 round draft. We've recently introduced offseason trades which allows owners to not only trade players but also trade draft picks for the upcoming draft. With this new innovation we've had some owners who've accumulated more draft picks + keeper spots than our roster limit will allow. For instance, Jimmie Rollins was traded for a 4th round draft pick. The team that aquired the 4th round draft pick now has 5 keeper spots + 19 draft picks for a total of 24. My question is if anybody knows how the cbs system will react when one of these owners goes to make his final draft pick or pick(s) which would take his total roster above our limit of 23. I worry that it will cause the whole system to freak out and create league wide pandamonium

. Let me know if you've had experience with this. Thanks!

I don't think you have to worry about anything drastic happening. When you add the extra player, it will give you an illegal roster. Same type of thing when you use the FAAB in midseason to add a player and you do not drop one. -- You would need to set the team limits on players to a number that would accomodate all of your picks.
