trying to trade CC, whats he worth

Postby King Joffi Joe » Tue Feb 03, 2009 8:12 pm

In a 16 team H2H keep 3 league im missing some picks this year. I want to move CC for picks in return. Im looking to get 2 picks ie. 2nd and 4th, 3rd and 4th etc.. what do you guys think is a reasonable starting price to ask for? Thanx

I doubt you'll get two picks for one player even if it is a good one like CC. But, if you want to ask then go with a 3rd and 5th or just ask for a second rounder straight up for CC and then I would take a 3rd rounder if they counter with that.

please help

Agreed. Unless there's a diehard Yankee fan in the league you're likely to just land one high pick. Go for a 1st rounder if you can somehow get that using the 'Wins Wins Wins' argument, but a 2nd rounder at the very least could be acquired. If you really need 2 picks, go with an early pick and a mid-round (8th-12th) to compensate for your losses.

Agreed as well, though I wouldn't dip past a second straight up. In a 16 teamer, that means the first overall pick is the 49th overall rated player. CC is worth more than that, I believe, though I'm not high on him for a third keeper, but it is a 16 teamer.
