I normally wouldn't even consider keeping a closer in 4 player keeper but that's a rough looking team. No offense. I agree with the above poster.

Yeah my team kind of fell apart. Although it was a 15 team league...

Papelbon by a hair over Shields and Oswalt.
He once hit a ball between my legs so hard that my center-fielder caught it on the fly backing up against the wall.

If Satch (Paige) and I were pitching on the same team, we would clinch the pennant by July fourth and go fishing until World Series time.

Boy, that's tough. I tend to agree with the other two, Paps is the way to go. However, I think it's very, very close with Shields. Keeping a closer in a 4-keeper system just seems....wrong. I know Shields isn't a top-10 pitcher, but his ERA/WHIP combination doesn't get beaten by many and he'll put up good W numbers on that team is only getting better. Add in that Papelbon's peripherals have gone up each of the last three seasons (granted, they had no where to go but up after the ridiculous 2006) and I think he's a bit overvalued this year.

Any thoughts on this topic?
