it's definitely good to draft in the top 5 this year as there is a drop off after the 5 above and at the end of the 3rd round.

This season the clear top 5 players:

Han Ram
A-Rod
D. Wright
Pujols
Reyes

No matter what order you put them in, those guys are the clear top 5. Even though Han-Ram and A-Rod are the concensus 1 & 2, you can make an argument for all 5 of those guys being the #1 overall pick....or at least the #2 pick. So just grab whichever one falls to you.

After those guys there is a definite drop off to Sizemore, Braun, Rollins, Cabrera, et.al. Just consider yourself a winner since you are going to get almost equal value to the guys with the 1st four picks, but you get to draft before them in the 2nd round. I think 4th or 5th are the ideal draft positions this season.

P.S. My prediction is that you actually end up with Wright or Reyes

Unless this league is gonna be a crappy pub or a bunch of noobs who will pay attention to them, ignore the CBS rankings. Everyone else has already listed the top 5 players..

If Pujols falls to you, grab him!

Han Ram
A-Rod
D. Wright
Pujols
Reyes

That's a good top 5 to have, imo.
