I was offered an offseason trade of Soriano and Zambrano for Pedroia in a keeper. Zambrano seems to be a throw in b/c we only get to keep 4.
This seems like a no-brainer in that Soriano's numbers seem better than Pedroia's in everything but avg. My only concerns are Soriano's age, and that Pedroia plays 2B, where depth is hard to find.

I would keep Pedroia and keep him along with 2 mentioned and Markakis. Mainly because I think outfield is deep, and you can keep Pedroia much longer than Soriano.

It isn't deep when you have to fill 5 of spots, it probably becomes then, one of the weakest.
Soriano for me.
