Yahoo 12 team roto league. I had the third pick and Starters went fast so I loaded up on hitters in hopes of trading later

C J. Posada (NYY - C)
1B A. Huff (TB - 1B,RF,DH)
2B B. Boone (Sea - 2B)
3B M. Lowell (Fla - 3B)
SS A. Rodriguez (NYY - SS)
OF S. Sosa (ChC - RF)
OF I. Suzuki (Sea - RF)
OF K. Griffey Jr. (Cin - CF)
Util F. Thomas (CWS - 1B,DH)
Bench T. Hunter (Min - CF)
Bench J. Burnitz (Col - LF,CF,RF)
Bench M. Cabrera (Fla - 3B,LF)
SP K. Millwood (Phi - SP)
SP J. Pineiro (Sea - SP)
RP B. Looper (NYM - RP)
RP J. Julio (Bal - RP)
P O. Perez (LA - SP)
P B. Myers (Phi - SP)
P D. Baez (TB - RP)
Bench J. Lieber (NYY - SP)
Bench A. Burnett (Fla - SP)

Any comments/criticisms are welcome. I know Leiber and Burnett are risks, but they were my last two picks and I figured one or both might work out.

Definitely scour the free agent pool to see which starters are still out there. Another solid closer wouldn't hurt and you seem to be lacking in the speed department.

About the only pitchers on the free agent/waiver wire that seem possibly roster worthy are: Ramon Ortiz, Brian Anderson, Gil Meche, Tomo Okha and Adam Eaton. However, I'm not sure any of those are really better than what I now have (I could be wrong). As I said, pitching went early and often. Twenty starters were taken before I took Millwood in round 6. That is as fast as I've seen starters go this year. I am in the process of trying to trade for a quality starter. As far as speed, there is some on the waiver wire. I just gotta hope I can get it. I'm the 10th waiver spot out of 12.
