Need some help with prospect draft.

Hey guys been browsing this forum for quite sometime and decided to finally join.

Anyways I need some serious help in my keeper league draft. I have the three pick of the prospect draft. The first pick was Justin Smoak, the second was Trevor Cahill.

Now I really need just about anything for my team, I've been one of the top teams for three years, the problem is they are getting older.

Here is the three I'm thinking about right now. Mike Stanton, Yonder Alonso, and Tim Beckham. Now I'll admit I'm not very good with prosects, I'm sure I'm missing some great guys. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I like Yonder Alonso out of that group. He's alot safer bet to produce at the MLB level even though the other two might have higher upside. I do think that Alonso gets a little underrated since he's compared to Smoak so much, but he plays in a very favorable park and all indications are that the Reds are planning to move Votto to LF when he is ready.

Thank you for your help, I went with Alonso. Hopefully he will improve really what is a lackluster minor league system of mine.

Just out of curiousity, what happened to Pedro Alvarez? If Smoak was taken in the draft, I'd think Pedro would be available in it as well.

I'm not a big Alvarez fan. Plus I already have a third base prospect, so his need was less.

Even if your not, I'm sure someone is. Plus he is probably better than your 3rd base prospect and he could always move to 1B. Just saying...

You are right he is probably rated higher than Mills is, actually I'm sure he is rated higher. I will say Alvarez went 5th with a lot of mixed reviews.
