Guys who throw really hard are meant to be relievers and the guys who throw 90 mph max are meant to be starters, duh.

It would be a massive WASTE to put this guy into the 'pen. The Yanks already got a rock solid bullpen and I salivate at the thought of CC, Joba, Wang, and even perhaps in time Mr Hughes, to lead the Yanks rotation for years to come. Oh and if Burnett stays healthy, him too, but i wouldnt hold my breath.

I think the knock on Joba isn't his stuff. It's whether his body will hold up to 200 innings per year. No video is going to answer that.

So does every ho-hum non-impressive pitcher do what he did in those videos? Or strike out 74 in 65 innings with a 2.76 ERA?

Joba needs to start.
