so if you have any in-put please tell me where to go from here;
i'm starting to think of drafting chris ray this late in the draft because if he does become the come back player of the year like some think i would have some relief pitchers i could trade for a good 2b....
any thoughts.

i am assuming this is a keeper league...if so, make sure that your bench slots are filled w/guys w/upsides (alonso, stanton, jzimmerman) who can be used as chips throughout the year and next offseason..do not take players like jkeppinger, bill hall, betemit, scott olsen etc who contribute nothing to your 09 success nor longterm success..
Though he doesn't currently have a home, I like Oliver Perez as it sounds like he and the Mets are close to a deal. Sure, he can be a headache at times, but he is so electric when he's locked in. Considering you are drafting him to round out a rotation, I think you have to gamble on such a high ceiling player. There are a couple catcher 2's I like so I think you can even try and grab Ray next round and then nab catcher a catcher (and then maybe another after that). I really like Max Ramirez if he's dealt. All I read is how disciplined and good he is as a hitter (and the numbers in the minors back that up). I think he has solid potential as a young catcher. I also like Ramon Hernandez for this season in Cinci. Good luck. If you don't mind I'd like some help with mine if you have a second. Thanks in advance.
