Anyone know a good site to use?

Postby tkratsas03 » Fri Jan 30, 2009 6:49 pm

I am trying to host a dynasty league where we will bid on players using an auction format then attach contract years. I just don't know what site to use. If anyone knows one please let me know. Also if anyone is interested in playing in it let me know. Buy in is $50. I figure keep it cheap cause we don't know what to expect.

If you are interested in playing e-mail me at tkratsas03@yahoo.com then I will reply with the information on it.

We have had a dynasty league going about 20 years, and now we use ROTOWIRE for the last two years. It's fairly cheap (about $60 total for the league), and their customer service is OUTSTANDING. If their were any problems, I could call them toll free, talk to a REAL person, and they would usually fix my problem while I was online looking at the site. Before ROTOWIRE, we used TQ STATS which was the BEST ever until 2 years ago for some ungodly known reason they totally changed their format, stats were inaccurate, rosters were wrong, customer service sucked (they'd usually say "we're working on it"). I'd highly suggest ROTOWIRE

Perfect thank you. Does Rotowire let me do an auction league and keep as many players for specific amount of years?

You can keep as many players as the parameters of your league allow.. We go back to the days of early Rotisseire Baseball, and we can keep players up to their third year before you need to make a decision as to signing to a long term contract. Players in thier first year are listed as "A" players on their contract, second year, "B" players. If before the third year and owner wants to sign the player to a long term contract, his contract becomes the last two digits of the last year of his contract ("09", etc.). If a player isn't signed to a long term contract he is listed as a "C" player

I haven't used rotowire for baseball, but using their fantasy service for football was the single-worst provider I've ever used.

Use CBS; they're worth it.
0-3 to 4-3. Worst choke in the history of baseball. Enough said.
