Given a keeper, I think Chris Davis has the best long-term potential of the two. Alexei has his questions in spite of his 5-cat upside, but I think the excitement is warranted. That said, Davis' power potential is almost Ryan Howard-like and he's not even 23 yet.

I like Alexei's upside more as far as 5 category potential. Davis is going to be f'ing awesome but the depth at 2nd isn' to hot and 1B has the chance of you getting Pena which is a legit keeper on some teams. I'd keep Alexei and try for Pena. If you cant get Carlos there is always some stud that shows up at 1st in the league every year (i.e. Davis)

Figgins is a bit overrated IMHO. You have guys that you can plug in to different positions in case of injuries etc and you have a utility bat. I would go after a 1b in the draft.

I hate giving up proven for potential.

I'd go Alexei. both have question marks. Alexei contributes in more cats from a thinner position.

I'm with MadDog36 on this... Bird in the Hand... Davis isn't hitting 45 HR's this year... but Aleix & Pena could hit 50+ and get you more...

Id take Davis as his upside is much much higher! Position eligibility does not trump talent IMO.
Without ME it would just be AWESO.
