So, it's been a slow few days at work and today I thought I'd try learning the ways of the graphic arts. I've had some classes in high school but it was with different programs, so I know some of the basics luckily. Anyways, here is my first attempt at a sig. I hope it's the right size and all. Any input negative or positive is always welcome. Hopefully sometime soon I can be as great an artist as some of you.
The background is fine, actually it's good for your first sig attempt. The cutting is poor but that will get better with time. It would serve you best to work with a larger canvas, somewhere around 400x100 and making the player larger. You don't really need to worry about fitting the whole player in the sig. Keep messing around and reading some tutorials here and at any other gfx sites you come across and in time you'll improve. And for future reference, posts like these would go in the Contests & Showing Off forum.
