Innings limit in head to head

Looking for feedback on what seems to be an appropriate limit on the number of innings per week in head to head. I know the reasoning behind it, but what is an ideal limit? Thanks. :-)

The leagues that I have been a part of use a 10 inning mininum for a week but if you are playing in H2H it is very important that you have a max limit for the year.

Why have a max limit for the year in H2H? H2H are games each week. Why is a yearly max needed? Explain please.
