How many teams are in the league? If 16 or more, I like the pitching a lot, the hitting may be good enough depending on how the old guys do. Nice job picking up Wallace as a necessary replacement for Chipper in the near future.
He once hit a ball between my legs so hard that my center-fielder caught it on the fly backing up against the wall.
If Satch (Paige) and I were pitching on the same team, we would clinch the pennant by July fourth and go fishing until World Series time.
I like Wallace, Jennings and McCutchen on your farm. Joyce should be alright. Not sure of the point of having minor league "closers," as closers in the minors rarely turn into major league closers. MLB closers are often guys who were starters in the minors. But whatever. Not many of your MiLB SPs really stand out to me. The rest of your farm is pretty forgettable. Your MLB batting lineup should be alright this year. Young, of course, will need to be replaced sooner or later with the looming loss of SS eligibility. Don't like Kouz, don't like Ellis, but the rest is good. I think your pitching core, for the immediate future, is pretty good. You have to worry about the durability of your aging arms, though, and might need to go out and acquire young talent fairly soon. I, too, have Peavy in a dynasty and I fret about him breaking down soon.
Good team but I am interested in knowing about your league. Is it auction? What site are you using? I am interested cause I am putting one together but I don't know what site offers auction plus a multiple year keeper league.

CBS offers those things.

Good luck!
good thing about this league is, we'll have a draft of the upcoming minor leaguers every year(like take players from the MLB Draft)
