I'll take the AGon side. Not convinced Gamel will be good enough to be a fantasy starter. A solid real life hitter, probably, but you generally have to be better than solid to have good value in fantasy.
If you are a couple of years away anyway, I would probably keep Price and Gamel. You could have a true No. 1 starter and a solid bat. I like AGonz, but not sure about Holland. I don't really like any pitcher in Texas.
I would give up Price/Gamel for AGonzo/Holland as well Holland is also a power lefty that should at least be a solid #3 starter and Gonzo is a top 5-6 1B right now and for the next few years.
i'd take that trade for sure. you're getting a proven masher in gonzalez and arguably the 2nd best pitcher in the minors (behind price of course). I don't think the difference between price and bumgarner at this point is near enough to make up the huge disparity between agonz and gamel. especially since you're a couple of years away and can wait on bumgarner getting the call up.
Eh If your two years from contending then your trade might as well say (on the downside of his career) after Gonzalez. The question that should be asked if, who is your current 1B and is Gamel your only hopeful there? I personally don't trade Price if I'm looking to content in a couple years, 1B are easier to find and for cheaper.

thanks again people

I couldn't hit the accept button and trading Price seems difficult especially in my position--which wasn't clearly defined.
On the surface , getting Gonzo is great but it doesn't help my team out NOW. Bumgarner won't help my team until 2 years from now HOPEFULLY. I have Smoak and Kila and can perhaps get someone in a trade down the way....Price seems to be a rare player that you hold on to.....
thanks again guys...tough call
