And what's up with the dude selling those things in the commercials - is he supposed to look "smart" or "hip" or "cool" with that mic strapped to his head? Because he looks none of the above.

my neighbor gave me one and i use it on my dog after i give her a bath. it works fairly well. i would say slightly better than a regular towel.

There are probably five dozen iterations of that product out there. I have one from Pampered Chef and it's... OK. I prefer using a knife. You have far more control over your cuts.
