I'm surprised everyone hasn't seen these before (and not just in the previous thread). Do you guys not have that annoying aunt who sends these email forwards to you on a near-daily basis? I've had to filter her emails, she sends so many.

insert annoying aunt with Wife in my case...although with the new baby she doesnt have as much time for email so i've been lucky lately. i try telling her unless it's funny or contains hot chicks dont send it to me but i'm "in her forwards list"

my buddy and i have a game where we forward each other the worst chain letters, inspirational stories, Obama is the devil emails, etc we get

I clued my mom in to Snopes.com, but she doesn't use it. She gets angry with me when I point out to her that all these too-good-to-be-true emails are just that, but at least after a brief conversation she's stopped sending those emails to me. My aunt... that's a lost cause.

same with my wife...i always reply back to her with the Snopes link and tell her she should check it before sending it out...she just gets mad and says she doesnt care

This year's runaway First Place Stella Award winner
Was Mrs. Merv Grazinski, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma,
who purchased a new 32-foot Winnebago motor home. On
her first trip home, from an OU football game, having
driven onto the freeway, she set the cruise control
at 70 mph and calmly left the driver's seat to go to
the back of the Winnebago to make herself a sandwich.
Not surprisingly, the motor home left the freeway,
crashed and overturned. Also not surprisingly, Mrs.
Grazinski sued Winnebago for not putting in the
owner's manual that she couldn't actually leave the
driver's seat while the cruise control was set. The
Oklahoma jury awarded her, are you sitting down,
$1,750,000 PLUS a new motor home. Winnebago actually
changed their manuals as a result of this suit, just
in case Mrs. Grazinski has any relatives who might also
buy a motor home.


I'm in the RV business, and this one has been around for 20+ years.

I have all emails from relatives go directly to spam. Then again I have all my emails go directly to the spam folder unless it is pr0n.
