I've been around long enough to know what wins these things. My design was no accident.

There is definitely a certain strategy to take if you want to win these things.

You both are right. I think it's safe to say that the majority of the voters aren't gfx makers. That being the case they might not know which sig was harder to make or incorporates more effects. For this part of the population I think that the sig that catches their eye or is the most unique looking is the one that they will most likely vote for. Gotta credit h0rt for repeatedly being able to come through with some of the tourney's more creative sigs.
