The concept has all the potential in the world, but I have tempered expectations for what 2k can do with it. I'm taking a wait and see approach.

I am not a video game guy but I preordered this game after reading they picked Beane and Cashmans minds and everyday activities.

KC had it right. The potential is huge but I'm trying not to get my hopes up. I am looking forward to the release though.

I can't lie I don't get stoked over much but on this I am, I only have a PC to play games so really this is going to be my bridge of time consumption outside of CBS fantasy baseball. I was reading on a site that it is going to have short season all the way to AAA ball and winter league ball. Yeah pretty sick. ;-D

I really want to try it out. I love front office simulations, and that's usually what I mostly due when I play baseball games (simulate games and just manage the team)

Do they have the licensing for all the real minor league players? It's hard for me to get too excited about fake players.

NO real names as it is against the MLPBA? and CBA? But to my understanding they have the ratings in place for say a 1B in the Marlin system whic would be Logan Morrison. I wonder if someone will hav a patch you can download for all the names just like the EA NCAA football games every year.

I'm sure someone will. How much could it really cost for baseball games to get the naming rights for minor league players?
