I am in an 18 team mixed H2H league on yahoo with some friends where the categories are R, H, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, OPS, W, CG, SV, K, HLD, ERA, WHIP .
We just held our draft today, and I pretty much ignored the saves and holds categories (my relief corps consists of Graves, Soriano (likely to be a starter at some point), and Leskanic), figuring that if I can win most/all of the offensive categories and a few of the quantitative pitching ones each week, I should be in good shape.
Is this a viable strategy, do you think, or should I start watching the waiver wire for holds and saves?
Bah, humbug.
