Keeper/dynasty/one-year?
He once hit a ball between my legs so hard that my center-fielder caught it on the fly backing up against the wall.

If Satch (Paige) and I were pitching on the same team, we would clinch the pennant by July fourth and go fishing until World Series time.

Looks to be a keeper, as there isn't a full roster. Am I right?

Werth, Abreu and Burnett give grounds for pause, but I think you have a great core with Pujols, Soriano, Peavy and Co. In a 16 teamer, the talent will obviously fly off the board, and with those keeper arms, I think you need to fill your bats ASAP. I like your team quite a bit, and with a good draft, I think you'll be right in the hunt for the top spot ;-D

it is a new 16 team dynasty first year. we can't take rookies until our minor league draft. Burnett is actually one of my favorite picks.

Outstanding for a 16 team league. The only thing I see is that you've filled your lineup with guys from positions that are easier to find. If I could have similar production from your other positions (2nd, SS, and C) I would take those first. That's just being a bit nit picky though. I would have a hard time believing anyone has a better core than you, especially your rotation.

thanks, the reason I didn't fill those is because of my draft position. Once the top four at 2b and ss were gone, I figured I better be better than everyone else at something. There is not much point is jumping on mediocrity at this point, but I wish I had an ian kinsler. ;-)

How is this. I just added Pablo Sandoval from my minor league draft.

Sandoval is a nice sleeper, in my eyes. He should hit for great average, and have decent power numbers. I like Werth this year, but you might have taken him a little early. Take a chance on Justin Upton, if you have the chance.

upton went way early, but I had to take werth because I did not pick again for 24 picks.
