this was tough. while kearns might not be the best to date.... imo he will be a solid keeper by the end of the season.

It was close between 2 people... Kearns and Hunter...

I would rather have Hunter, I worry about Kearns health issues

I'm actually gonna vote for Hidalgo here. Looks like he'll finally get back to form, and playing in Houston could yield some big numbers if he stays consistent. 25+ HR, .300 AVG, close to 90 RBI, Hidalgo gets my vote.

Edmonds is clearly the best player for this year.

Depends on your keeper league rules I guess how important the others are. If you only keep 3 guys, I doubt even a good year by Kearns would earn him keeper status.

I'm a Twins fan and I'm more of the opinion that Torii had one great, over-his-head year. Last year was more typical. He's a hell of a defensive OF, the best there is IMO. If you have FPCT and SportsCenter defensive highlights as categories then his value goes up. Just using FPCT doesn't really elevate him that much IMO.

I like Matsui among those on your list. His HR were low last year but I think he can improve on them. Runs and RBI should be high in that line-up and he hits for a good Avg.
