We ended up doing our debate on comparative merits, because we honestly thought all of these were a little below what we expected to see in the competition. We immediately narrowed our choice down to A and G.
We liked A for its clarity. We liked G because it had the nostalgic look that is often associated with baseball. In the end, we went with G when we noticed the lower-right text on A. When I say noticed, I literally mean we hadn't noticed it when we first looked at it.
FWIW, B was our lowest-ranked of the submissions. Needless to say, we were surprised to see it in the lead.
Just goes to show how seperated from reality graphic designers are!
I liked most all of the sigs. G is very nice. I liked B just because it was different...it was easy to look at....I like the player, etc. Most of the other sigs if you just scroll through them, look pretty much the same. Like others have said "I" is very busy....you actually have to stop and stare just to see what all is in it.
