does anybody know where I can find sort or excel-friendly player date of birth info? the best i've seen so far is the individual roster pages on MLB.com, but I'm looking for something where I can pull of the player universe and sort by various stats.

Baseball prospectus weighted means spreadsheet contains ages. Can't remember if its in the form of dob or just age as a number. I gather the latter is more important, unless your sending birthday cards to your team.

I actually need the DoBs for my own permanent spreadsheet that would automatically update ages. Looks like this may take more effort than I'd prefer, but after the first time through it's easy to update. Thankfully I'm not doing all of MLB.

at least it's purely objective (Latin players excluded).
