I did not realize he got 14 games in at 3rd last year to qualify for yahoo this year. I assume those were all at the beginning of the year before moving to 1st. At any rate it fills a hole I was expecting for this year.
I'd hope he could get another 5-10 filling in at 3rd this year but I know that won't happen. He and Braun have both burned me in my everlasting quest to get a 3B for more than a year or two at a time.
When you are a man, sometimes you wear stretchy pants in your room...is for fun.
Inge is the starting 3B at this time. I would imagine the 3B hierarchy would be Inge -> Guillen -> Cabrera. Given that, there's a pretty good chance that Inge will suck bad and Guillen will get injured, so MCab might get a few games in edgewise.
Rocinante2: you know Rocinante2: its easy to dismiss the orioles as a bad team ofanrex: go on Rocinante2: i'm done Rocinante2: lmao
I don't think MCab will ever play 3B again. I don't think he's working at it defensively even and if needed the Tigers would throw a utility player in there if needed.

Inge cant hit, but people seem to think he plays Gold Glove 3B (while he makes some unbelievable highlight reel plays, his overall D is over-rated IMO) so his job is pretty safe
if i had to guess when Inge sits it will be a Ramon Santiago or Ryan Raburn type at 3rd...highly doubt M-Cab sees any time there...doubt Guillen does either

Completely agree on Inge. Kind of a fan favorite, but a horrible contract IMO.
