Hey Rob Neyer, is this a joke?

Rob Neyer uses the dreaded "Player X was more feared than Player Y, therefore Player X deserves to be in the Hall of Fame and Player Y does not," argument.

Well, he did just get voted into the BBWAA. Maybe they take your brain away upon receiving admission.

Of course Gossage was a better pitcher than Lee Smith, but can't you just show that instead of uttering nonsense like "more feared"?

I fear Madison more than I fear Mookie, but we all know who's the better mod.

Sarcasm.
