12 Team H2H 5X5
7 picks left--2 OF, UTIL, 4 BENCH

ROSTER:
C Kendall
1B Huff 1B/OF
2B Reyes SS/2B(well, almost 2B)
3B Chavez
SS Nomar
OF Shef
OF Carlos Lee
OF
OF
Util
IL
SP Santana
SP Beckett
SP Wolf
RP Gagne
RP Mantei
P Padilla
P Sabathia

I need to fill my 2OF spots as well as UTIL, but picking up another pitcher now is tempting since I missed out on a top 10 ace(well, I'm hoping for big things from Beckett). Any thoughts? I have back to back picks coming up. I'm most considering 2 of these: BH Kim, B.Penny, Gibbons, N.Johnson, H.Matsui, Urbina, Julio, Kolb.

I was also thinking of picking up Hinske and then trading Chavez.

Thanks.

possible picks:
Klesko, N.Johnson? Hinske?
OF- J.Gibbons, H.Matsui, B.Williams, R.Sanders, Dunn, Burrell?
SP- Penny, BH Kim SP/RP, Chacon, Garcia, Hernandez, K.Escobar, R.Soriano, Peavy, Kip Wells, Weaver
RP-Urbina, S.Hasegawa, Julio, R.Soriano, Kolb

from the list you've provided i would take the next picks in the following order:
1.Burrell
2.Sanders
3.Johnson
4.Chacon or Kolb
5.Wells- nice sleeper this year IMO
6.Weaver
7.Urbina or Julio
8.Then the rest is up to you
hope that helps

hmm...

So your not too high on Matsui?
-was thinking his power might improve this year;he's on a great team ;-)

Or Gibbons?
-age 27, could be a breakout year

Tough call for me, cuz I do think Burrell Sanders and Johnson are all good options too.

I guess what I should do is go with A the safest pick and B go with the players most likely not to be there next time. I'm thinking Gibbons might still be there.

Matsui is going to be batting much lower in the Yankees lineup and figures to bat ahead of Joe Blow 2B. As a result he won't see too many pitches to hit.

I like Gibbons a lot, Burrell will snap out of his funk, I don't like Reggie Sanders. (very average)

The fact that I already have Shef. and C.Lee is def. a +, but it would be nice not to have to rely oin them for my power. Here are the remaining OF I amconsidering for my next two picks (Matsui just drafted so he is out of the running):

Gibbons- 27 and likely to breakout
Burrell- has to bounce back?
Guillen- young age a +
Sanders- kinda average?
Dunn- batted .215 last year
Bradley- a "ticking time bomb"
K.Lofton- ?
J.Payton- kinda average
B.Williams- injury concern
