Trade Offer: I get Chase Utley and RD 9 (133) Draft Pick - I give up King Felix and David Price (Price can be kept as 1 of my MiLB Keepers, a loophole that would give me 7 actual keepers)
List of potential keepers (I am taking over this team from a ghost owner): MLB 1B - Derek Lee OF - Jacoby Ellsbury OF - Jason Bay SP - Johan Santana SP - King Felix SP - Jon Lester SP - Dice K SP - Chad Billingsely
MiLB David Price Travis Snider Fernando Martinez Michael Iona Elvis Andrus Deolis Guerra
Do I make this deal? Ask for a better pick? Or hit the reject button?

I like this deal for you (getting Utley and the 9th for Felix and Price). I would ask for a better pick (like a 5th), but I would pull the trigger if he stands pat with his offer.
I would take the deal. I think you are doing well to buy low on Utley. Losing two good young pitchers hurts your rotation a bit, but just keep this in mind in the draft and you should do fine.
You have to do the deal. Utley is a sure thing at 2B, even with the surgery. Felix is over-rated, and Price has yet to prove himself. Always go with the sure thing.
take utley, this is buying pretty low on his injury. i don't think utley will end up missing much time this year, plus he's still a great keeper down the line.
I'd be all over that deal. Here's my reasoning: Felix is on the edge of being a keeper at best. (i'd guess 5th round or so in your league?) While it would be a big bonus to keep Price as a minor leaguer, after the '09 season you'd either have to cut him loose or spend a keeper on him. I'm not at all convinced that Price will be worthy of a 6th round or better pick in the '10 draft. On the other hand Utley is a no doubt first rounder, and I always try to accumlate as many top round guys as possible. It's much harder to find a guy who'll blossom into a first rounder then it is to find a guy who will blossom into a fifth or sixth rounder.
