Roberts teaming with Alexei would be a very nice middle infield, and while losing Floyd really makes SP Depth a problem in Chicago, they're getting good value here..
Definitely makes sense for the O's, who are going nowhere with Roberts anyway..get a fresh young arm who showed some flashes last year.
False.
Terrible trade for the Orioles. Floyd is vastly overrated coming out of last year. As much as I'd like to see the Os trade B-rob i'd rather see them keep him than see Gavin Floyd in an O's uniform...

I would be opposed to this. Floyd had a good year last year, but I really don't think he's that good. There is still some decent options in free agency to fill out the rotation. Maybe Randy Wolf or Paul Byrd.

This sounds like wishful thinking from some Sox source (although it was a Baltimore media outlet that apparently reported it). I don't see how this makes sense for the Os. Sure they are not going to contend this year, but good luck getting anyone to show up at Camden if they clear out their fan favorites in exchange for another guy who will not enable them to contend either.

The Orioles want Gavin Floyd and more from the White Sox in return for Brian Roberts, according to SI.com's Jon Heyman.
It's not clear that Floyd was even on the table in the first place. Talks have stalled for now, Heyman says. GM Ken Williams told the Chicago media that he hasn't even spoken with the Orioles since November. However, most don't seem to believe him.

There is no truth to this rumor. The White Sox need the pitching anyway. We are already having to insert Marquez or Richard. It won't happen.
Is pushing for President Obama to pass a law requiring all citizens to be Chicago White Sox fans and make October 1st "White Sox Day" where we all dress as our favorite player. It maybe socialist, but I don't care.
