I remember when Thome was on the phillies i had a dream i met him and he signed a bat for me ( i wasnt even a big fan of him at the time) and I was so happy. I woke up soon after looked around and just said, "Damn"
I normally have dreams where I'm traveling, often times destinations I'm very familiar with and others that I'm exploring for the first time. I think it's because I was used to traveling for much of my life, but for the last few years, I've done less of that which subconsciously makes me nostalgic of my old travels and the desire to travel to places I haven't been before. Just last night, I had a dream I was walking around an airport terminal. I reckon it was Asia given how state of the art and how modern the architecture was, with some subtle and not-so-subtle hints that it was derived from ancient Asian architecture (I've never been to Asia personally and would absolutely love to go). At any rate, I was walking down the terminal with just a hand-carry, looking to transfer on another flight to reach my ultimate destination (think I was on a business trip). I walked past a gate that caught my attention. There was a big sign next to the entrance of the gate with an England flag with the text "DAKAR" on top of it. I asked the people, most of whom Asian, if Dakar really was in England and how in the world I wasn't aware of it in the many times I had visited England (of course, Dakar is in Senegal).
That dream wasn't as detailed as the one I already described, but I have a photographic memory of most dreams. As I've gotten older, of course, I remember less in vivid detail but I'm selective in what dreams I'll remember. Also, I think you'll remember most dreams you have in the final 30 minutes to an hour of sleep, which is when you go through REM sleep.
