Barry Bonds-OF- Giants Jan. 1 - 9:34 am et
The San Francisco Chronicle reports that Barry Bonds recently underwent hip surgery and will not be fully healthy by spring training.
The newspaper notes that he should be recovered by Opening Day and went under the knife in the hopes of continuing his career.

Bonds has been trying to resume his career, but nobody is signing him. It's a shame. I'd be thrilled if the Yankees picked him up to DH. The man is still a force at the plate.

I don't think many teams are worried about his health, just defense (for NL teams) and the salary he commands.
Leonardo Dicaprio says he concurs with that.
