I hear what you are saying. I have no problems taking Reyes and Sizemore with one and three. But seems like now I know he really wants Pujols I have some bargining power. I'm just trying to figure out what I can get from him to give him the rights to the first pick.

I wanted to move Teixeria or Cabrera because I need a third baseman. I am most likely going to draft Albert Pujols with the first pick in the draft. Third base is very weak this year. I tried to get Ramiez, Arod and Longoria without any luck. I dropped a note to the owner of David Wright and he said he would trade Wright if I gave him back Cabrera and swapped my 4th round pick for his 6th round. If I don't move either of my guys I will have three first baseman. I thought since Teixreria only has two years left and Miggy has three and that their numbers are very close it made mose sense to keep Cabrera. I also have the third overall pick . My choices are Pujols, Jose Reyes, Utley, Sizemore Rollins, Fielder,Holliday, Berkman, Soriano, Mauer, Morneau and Howard. Those are the top 12 picks. Others avalible will be B. Roberts, Beltran, Lackey, Felix, Kazmir,Ichiro and Huston Street. The talent drops off alot after those guys. I also have the 2nd pick in the second round. That will be the 14th overall pick. 12 teams 5x5 9 player keeper. 25 man rosters . we draft 16 players. When trading a pick we have to get one back . Everybody has to have 16 total picks. Can be in different rounds. Anymore questions just ask. Hope this helps.
Here is a list of my keepers.
Tex
Miggy
Jason Bay
Jay Bruce
Granderson ?
Tulo ?
Josh Johnson ?
Price
Liriano ?
Scherzer ?
Soria
Ian Stewart ? If I can't find a third basman and he gets the starting job . Gamble
Blalock ? Qualifies at first and third If healthy could be a sleper
Mike Gonzalez ?

Sorry but I think you should draft Reyes then Utley or Sizemore. I understand the thought process of Pujols but since you already have 2 1B that seems like a wasted pick, Personally I would make the trade for Wright but thats because I'm a huge WRight fan, and then draft Reyes and Utley or Sizemore, personally if you do that I would pick Utley because with Reyes and Wright you would have plenty of speed

Thanks for the help but I won't have two first baseman if I make the trade to get Wright. I will have to give up one of them. I do want Wright. Because as I stated third base is very weak this year.I agree that if I can get Reyes I will .I like both Sizemore and Utley.I'm still waiting to hear from the owner of Wrigt.

I answered your post about who to keep Granderson or Tulo. Seeing what your line up looks like, I think you need to keep Granderson.

I think you made a good trade, but in reality you are in great position (almost no loose) when you own Wright & Miggy and have the ability to add 2 of the following: Reyes, Pujols, Utley & Sizemore.

I think you have to go Reyes & Sizemore. If Utley were healthy, it would be him. But there is a chance he may miss the first 2 months of the season.

Then after that start targeting your pitchers.

I doubt the accepts my offer . Having just traded away my forth round pick I thought this wold be a great chance to replace that spot but a round early. That would give me the 26th and 30th overall picks. I figure I could grab Beltran or Roberts with my second round and maybe Lackey or Kazmir with one or both of my third rounders. I plan on keeping Soria as one of my pitchers and trying to grab another closer later.
