Hey all;
I have some openings in a redesigned baseball keeper league. We are going to a dynasty format along with a salary cap system. CBS assures me that the auction style draft room will be ready for the up and coming 2009 baseball season.
Why the redesign? The keeper league in question was simplistic in nature, and had a few necessary tweaks to keep up with the ever changing fantasy player. The league had no prospect features about it as well, which now has been designed to include 10 minors rosters spots, with rules for how they interact through the league based on the number at bats or innings pitched. Some owners who had the desire for a more sophisticated league, have left in search of such a league, so therefore the openings available. Although the teams have rosters right now, we will do an entire redraft to accomodate the new league
The salary cap aspect of the league was put in so that we can add some more strategy. I considered a contract signing of the individual players, but I have been involved in such leagues, and looked into the design of such a league, and decided that they are just too complicated, with pages and pages of rules. NO interest in running such a league.
I have over 15 years of fantasy experience, along with about 6 years online. I have extensive commissioners experience with a hockey league keeper in its third year. A football dynasty at the end of the second year. (Actually, the football league is much older, but went through a redesign two years ago). And this baseball league, which in current form, was going into it's fourth season.
The roster configurations and scoring can be sent to prospective and interested owners.
Just PM me at the cafe here, as I find that is the best way to proceed.
Thanks
Brad
